Daryl Allen Robare

Daryl was a native of Negaunee, MI, and graduated from Northern Michigan University with a bachelorás degree in business administration. During his career, he worked in numerous sales and management positions.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Audrey Robare, of Negaunee, his brother, Donald Robare, also of Negaunee, and two stepsons: Greg Elliott and Wayne Elliott of Prosser, WA.

Daryl is survived by his wife, Alva Gardner Robare, of Zillah, WA, and his children: Renee Heltsley (Chris) of Marietta, OH, Laura Robare of West Bend, IA, David Robare of Nelsonville, OH, Ninnette Robare of Ephrata, WA, and his stepchildren, Jayson Gardner, Jennifer Gass, and Brent Elliott. Additional survivors include his granddaughter, grandson, great- granddaughter, great nephew, his niece Donnette Robare and nephews Scott Robare, Curt Robare (Lisa Jasper) and Tim Robare. Numerous other friends and associates will remember Daryl fondly.

The family will host a celebration of life service on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah, WA. A memorial service will be scheduled later and held in Negaunee. Daryl’s ashes will be buried in the Negaunee City Cemetery near his parents and brother.

Daryl left many wonderful memories for his family and friends to treasure, and he will be missed immensely.
