Laura J. LaBelle

FOND DU LAC, WI- Laura J. LaBelle, 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 6, 2026, after her fight with a medical complication.

She was born to Barbara and Darrell Larson on January 24, 1965 on the KI Sawyer Air Force Base in Marquette Michigan.

Laura graduated from Negaunee Michigan Highschool, class of 1983.

Laura married her loving husband Tim LaBelle on April 29, 2000, in Las Vegas. Together they lived in Negaunee, MI until 2006 when they moved to Fond du Lac, WI.

Laura’s life was centered above all else on her children. She was their constant supporter, always present and cheering them on, especially at their sporting events. She cherished traveling back home to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to spend time with family and lifelong friends. Laura found joy in simple moments-gathering around campfires, throwing horseshoes, playing pool, and spending time at family camps. One of her greatest pleasures was sitting around the table, sharing stories and everyday life with those she loved. She had an extraordinary way of welcoming her children’s friends as if they were her own, offering warmth, comfort, and a listening ear. Laura was truly the glue that held her family together, always ready to listen, support, and love unconditionally.

She is survived by her husband, Tim; children, Josh (Stephanie) LaBelle, Maegin (Doug Schmitz) LaBelle and Adam LaBelle; father, Richard (Sharon) Dunn; brothers, Tom (Sandy) Larson and Pat (Maria) Dunn; sisters, Terri (Mark) Perala and Marla (Ray) Petersen. She is further survived by her siblings-in-law, Charles (Jeanann) LaBelle, Dan LaBelle, Bill (Polly) LaBelle, and Colleen (Tim) Schmeltzer; life long friends, Renee and Wayne Kunnari, Rae and Sam Richards; nieces, nephews, and other many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Dunn; father, Darrell Larson; mother-in-law, Marie LaBelle; sister-in-law, Sandy LaBelle; and nephew, Anthony Leboeuf.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in both Fond du Lac, WI and Negaunee, MI. Family and friends will be notified.

Laura’s family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of SSM’s ICU for their compassionate care and support throughout her stay.
