Kim Weiland
MARQUETTE, MI- Kim E. Weiland, 70, of Marquette, passed away on January 22, 2026 at her home.
Kim was born on September 22, 1955, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Carl and Janet M. (Spellman) Hill. She was a 1973 graduate of Bishop Foley Catholic High School and attended the University of Michigan and Aquinas College.
On March 17, 1979, Kim married Scott Weiland.
She devoted 30 years of her professional life to Eastwood Nursing Center, where she served as a social service director.
Kim enjoyed playing pool and participated in pool leagues, loved softball, and treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren above all else. She was known for her immense sense of humor and her ability to make others laugh.
Kim is survived by her children, Jaycie Parker, Hyli Latvala, Jeremy (Zoe) Weiland, and Cassandra (Brandon) Weiland; grandchildren, Hendrik, Reed, Kyra, Quade, Kaden, and Bentley; son-in-law, Don Latvala; siblings, Kevin and Kirt Hill; sister-in-law, Barbara Hill; brothers-in-law, Warner and Andrew Weiland; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Janet Hill; her husband, Scott Weiland; son-in-law, George Parker; brother, Kory Hill; and nephews Josh Hill and Ryan Hill.
Per Kim’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
