Cynthia Feltner

KINGSFORD, MI- Cynthia Lynn (Pariseau) Feltner of Kingsford, MI, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, at the Marshfield Medical Center – Dickinson after a lengthy illness.

Cindy was born on April 17, 1968, to Ronnie and Edith (Maki) Pariseau and grew up in Gwinn, MI, in a neighborhood full of kids with woods to climb trees and lakes to swim in. She graduated from Gwinn High School in 1986 and immediately began making her way in the world, enjoying various careers starting from pasty making to banking and account administration.

She married the love of her life and best friend, Albert Feltner, Jr. on August 19, 1995. Over the years Cindy and Al lived and worked in many places, including Marquette and Ironwood, MI, and Boscobel, Shawano, and Sheboygan, WI, before settling down in Kingsford, MI, where they bought their first home, which she loved. Cindy then worked for the US Postal Service Distribution Center until her health declined in 2022.

Cindy made new friends wherever she roamed. Her family nicknamed her Cindy Lou, “Lou” for short, and the common chorus was “Everyone loves the Lou!” She was known for her strong work ethic (rarely missing a day of work), quick wit, determination, big heart, and collection of clothes from the 80’s. She and Albert enjoyed traveling and trying their luck at casinos. Every night before they went to sleep one said, “I love you” and the other said “I love you more.”

Cindy is survived by her soulmate of over 35 years, Albert Feltner, Jr. of Kingsford, MI; mother, Edith Pariseau of Gwinn, MI; siblings: Kathleen (Tom) Leone of Marquette, MI, Steven Pariseau of Gwinn, and Patti King of Fond du lac, WI; father-in-law, Albert (Kim) Feltner, Sr. of Escanaba, MI; special aunt, Clara Feltner of Marquette; sisters-in-law: Linda Davis of Missouri, Sandra (Joe) Drozd of Marquette, and Julie Feltner of Marquette; nephews: Logan King, Joseph (Vanessa) Davis, Franklin Drozd, and Christine (Bobby) Cole; great niece, Brayleigh Cole; great nephews: Jackson Feltner, Cash Cole and Apollo Davis; as well as many relatives and friends, including special friends Tracy (Hairy Neck, as Cindy called him) and Keren Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Pariseau; maternal grandparents, Viano and Matt Maki; paternal grandparents, Burton and Sylvia Pariseau; mother-in-law, Shirley Miller and her husband, Lowell Miller; special uncle, Bill Maki; brother-in-law, Butch Davis; and nephew, Daniel Feltner.
