Betty Kay Tobin

Betty was born April 30, 1948 in Ishpeming to Henry and Helen Pietro and graduated from National Mine High School. She worked various jobs throughout her career, retiring as a secretary from KI Sawyer Air Force Base. Betty enjoyed crafting, loved her Chihuahua ‘Tuffy,’ and most of all loved being with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children: Stacie (Jack) Pascoe of Marquette, Nicole (Michael Grobar) Illikainen of Negaunee Township, Michell (Adam) Wills of Ishpeming and Chris ‘Bucky’ (Kristin) Hillier of Skanee; eight grandchildren: Kaylee (Jonathon Hamm), Cydnee and Shawn (Kylee) McIntyre, Korie (Steve) Sleeter and Alexa Wills, Dre (Julia) Tuominen, Nash (Maddie Fish) Hillier and Landen Hillier; five great-grandchildren: Hudson, Gage, Magnolia, Jackson and Wrenley; and numeorus nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Betty’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Eastwood Nursing Center and UP Home Health and Hospice for their wonderful care.
