Joyce Korpi

She was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on January 14, 1967 to the late Eugene ‘Mello’ Korpi and Helen Korpi.

Joyce grew up in Florida before returning back to Michigan to graduate high school. She loved the beach and swimming, especially with her grandkids. Joyce worked hard and loved harder. She had a lengthy career helping people in need and when she wasn’t working she enjoyed thrifting, antiquing, and shopping. She played in a pool league and liked going to concerts from time to time, especially rock concerts. She found a new love of riding Harley’s which she shared with her boyfriend of 6 years. She adored her family and friends, but mostly adored her two dogs, Stella and Gordie.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bill ‘Billy’ Korpi.

She is survived by her 3 daughters; Sarah DeRoche (Chuck), Billie-Jo Korpi, and Katie Pleau. Her grandchildren; Hunter, Charles, Ashlynn, Brielle, Jackson, and Malachi. Her sister and brother-in-law Carole Jean and Larry (Dink) Spahr. Her nieces Tiffany and Tonya and nephew Ethan. Along with numerous great nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
