Diana M. Norman
Diana M. Norman, age 86, passed away at her home on December 11, 2025.
Diana was born on June 28, 1939, in Ishpeming, MI, to John E. and Hulda K. (Maki) Erickson. She was a 1957 graduate of Gwinn High School.
On October 12, 1957, Diana married the love of her life, Vernon “Bud” Norman, at the Gwinn Methodist Church. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, faith, and devotion to family.
Diana took immense pride in raising her children and considered her family one of God’s greatest blessings. She was a devoted prayer warrior who deeply loved Jesus. Her greatest passion was seeing others come to know the Lord, and she lived her faith daily through service to others. Diana was a dedicated and active member of the 906 Community Church in Gwinn, where she faithfully participated in church activities, especially preparing and serving food. She truly had a servant’s heart.
In her free time, Diana enjoyed baking and was an avid reader. She cherished time spent with her family, whether playing card games, attending family gatherings, or enjoying the yearly Norman family campout-traditions she held close to her heart.
Diana is survived by her loving husband, Vernon “Bud” Norman; her children, Jay (Chris) Norman, Kathy (Ron) Pickett, Dennis Norman, and Terry (Niki) Norman; her grandchildren, Beau Norman, Hannah Holsworth, Amber (Joe) Braun, Ashley (Aaron) Dagenais, Arianna (Kyle) Fadness, Tyler (Kelli) Norman, Tanner (Heather) Norman, Cody Norman, Jonah (Hailey) Norman, and Chloe (Kyle) Wiersma; her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Ailee, Anja, Micah, Corbin, Blake, Raelynn, Jace, Cade, Thea, Maddie, Leni, Archer, Rory, Violet, and Natalie; her siblings, Paul Erickson, Gary (Kay) Erickson, Dennis Erickson, and John (Susie) Erickson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hulda Erickson; and her siblings, Floyd Erickson, Virginia Foress, Charles Erickson, Joan Gardipee, Patti Stine, and Roger Erickson.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, December 18, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the 906 Community Church.
