Gayle Karen (Dixon) Clement
BEDIAS, TX-Gayle Karen (Dixon) Clement,68 years of Bedias, TX; passed away at her home on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
Her life will be celebrated at 3PM on Sunday; November 9, 2025 at Day Funeral Home with Bro. Joel Douget officiating. The visitation will begin at 1PM prior to the service.
Gayle was born on March 10, 1957 to Heydon Robert ‘Bob’ and Nancy Joan (Pfeifer) Dixon in Kalamazoo, MI. She graduated from Texas A & M University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting Degree. She had retired from The Michigan Nurses Association as well as from The City of Bedias at the time of her death.
Gayle was a very family oriented person who was a bingo playing, rock hunting, waterfall chasing, and gardening fanatic; who loved her children, grand-children, and great grand-children without end. She also had a love for her cats; Misty-Mae, Bandit, Scooter, Slick (Catman), and any other cat(s) around. Gayle would feed any stray cat that would wander up at home or work. She was also a cherished member of The Bedias Volunteer Fire Department and served as the treasurer for The Bedias Civic Center.
Gayle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-four years, David Joseph Clement; her brother, Brian Robert Dixon; her son-in-law, Dennis Michael Wager; and her great grandchild, Cheyenne Payne.
Gayle is survived by her daughters, Karyn Upchurch (Trent) of Bedias, TX; Wendy Wager (Steve) of Bedias, TX, and Tina MacKenzie (Zane) of Hancock, MI; her son, Scott Goodreau (Amy) of Marquette, MI; her grandchildren, Michael Wager, Kenny Upchurch, Kandace Upchurch (Calvin), Cody Upchurch (Alexis Calkum), Nicole Payne (Jason), Shelly Villarreal (Mario), Kimberly MacKenzie, Alex MacKenzie, and Bristolyn Goodreau; her great grandchildren, Tyler Stanley, Chloie Curtis, Camerin Curtis, Aiden Upchurch, Bjorn Upchurch, Dakota Payne, Dixie Payne, Kylee Villarreal, Marco Villarreal, and Ellie Villarreal; her nephew Michael Dixon (Cassie) and her great niece, Penelope Dixon.
