Concetta Brewer

She was born July 10, 1947 to Dominic and Joyce (Kennedy) Carello.

Connie attended nursing courses at Northern Michigan University and worked as a home healthcare aide for many years. She comforted countless patients and their families with compassion and dignity.

Connie is remembered for her energy, strength, independence and wisdom. Perceptive and thoughtful, she adored family gatherings and spending time with her friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Corey Mattila.

She is survived by her sons; Don Mattila, Mark (Marisa) Mattila and Erik J Mattila; brothers Dominic and Pete Carello; Grandchildren; Melissa Campbell, Jessica Wesche, Rachel (Jace) Mattila, Tia (Jacob) Mattila, Kayla Kaukola, Korey Kaukola and Kadie Kaukola, great grandchildren; Dylan, Lacey, Corbin, Danielle, Dawson, Annabelle, Scarlett Rilyn and many extended family members and friends.

Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
