Joshua Casey Leece

Josh was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend whose greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He had a lifelong love for television and film, and he especially enjoyed camping, fishing, and being outdoors. His quick wit, kind heart, and easy smile will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Above all, Josh was incredibly proud of his sons and the young men they have become. His love will continue to live on through them.

Josh is survived by his mother, Carol Leece (Heidi Pusa); his sister, Megan Thiel (Greg Thiel); and his beloved sons, Elijah Leece, Evan Leece (Madyson Groth), and Elliot Leece. He is also lovingly remembered by his nephew (Gregory Thiel), niece (Mykenna Thiel), three aunts (Linda Raney, Debbie Van Gemert, and Barbara Rose) and many cousins, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

Preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Leece, cousins Rachel Browne and Cora Raney, and his grandparents Earl (Skip) Dorothy & Kathy Lewis.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Marquette Township Town Hall, 1000 Commerce Drive, Marquette, MI 49855. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor Josh’s life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in care of Carol Leece to help support funeral costs.
