Garrett Russell Green

Garrett’s father, Ronald R. Green (Savage, MN originally from Marquette), along with his mother, Paulette A. Weesen (Marquette) and sister Shannon E. Green (Paso Robles, CA) will be holding a celebration of life October 25, 2025 at Wildfire in Eden Prairie, MN, from 6-9 pm.

Garrett’s brilliant mind brought him into the world of Information Technology where he spent his career. He also enjoyed driving his convertible Jaguar, building intense Lego structures (Titanic, Hogwarts Express and Millenium Falcon, to name a few) as well as collecting game consoles, controllers and games for these systems. He had collected over 1,300 games and all the components.

Garrett and Shannon shared a beautiful bond since the day he was born. They spoke with each other daily and were each other’s best friend. Shannon rescued Annie, a calico cat, from the Humane Society in 2016. Garrett and Annie instantly formed a close bond and it was clear that Annie knew this was her forever person and home.

Our hearts are shattered and our lives are forever changed. We were all blessed to have had Garrett in our lives, and he will be deeply missed.

Garrett is survived by his immediate family, extended family and lifelong friends.
