Dr. Renee Elise (Douthit) Shellum

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert and Rosemary of Gwinn Mi.

Survived is her only sister, Rebecca (Douthit) Sessions and two nieces Laurie and Jennifer and 2 great nieces Faith and Alexis.

Renee graduated from Gwinn High School in 1982 and completed her Doctorate of Audiology at Northern Michigan University. She worked and retired from Minnesota State University as an Associate of Audiology.

Renee ran an online business called Cats, Crystals and more.

Renee was the Director of a non profit organization called Kitten Care Group for special needs kittens. Renee adopted many that might not have found good homes. Renee also had two beautiful great Danes that added to her crazy house.

Renee saw the good in everyone and will be dearly missed.
