Anna Marie Monroe
 
								MUNISING / CENTER LINE, MI-Anna Marie Monroe, age 92, of Center Line and formerly of Munising, died on Monday, October 27, 2025 in Center Line.
She was born on July 25, 1933 in Munising to the late Walter and Anna (Tyner) Lukowski. Anna Marie was raised in Munising. She waitressed at Weiland’s Restaurant and met her future husband, Allan Monroe there. Anna Marie and Allan were married on December 26, 1953 and together raised their children. She was a homemaker and enjoyed travelling, knitting, crocheting, decorating her house for the holidays, and going to the casino. During the summer, Anna Marie would be tending to her flower garden and camping. She most of all enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and cooking great meals for her family.
Anna Marie was the beloved wife of the late Allan; loving mother of Raymond (Gerri) Monroe, Karen (Eddie) Canada, and the late Patricia, Sharon, Richard, and Randy Monroe; cherished grandmother of Kevin, Tabitha, Branden, Paige, Kevin, Kellie, Tayler, and Kayla; and dear great-grandmother of Julia, Madilynn, Ryan, Finley, Emma, Nicholas, Ella, Gideon, and Simon. Anna Marie is also survived by many loving friends and other family members. She was also preceded in death by her parents and infant brothers Joseph and Lawrence Lukowski.
Services will be held in Center Line on Saturday and in Munising on Monday, November 3, 2025. Visitation will be held at the Bowerman Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Anna’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Michael Ocran at Sacred Heart Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising.
