Angel M. Lerlie
MARQUETTE, MI-Angel M. Lerlie, 51, of Marquette, passed away at her home on October 16, 2025.
Born in Marquette on September 7, 1974, she was the daughter of Tom Lerlie and Terry A. Abbott. A devoted caretaker throughout her life, Angel lovingly cared for people of all ages, young to old, and was especially dedicated to her mother in her final years.
A member of Love Marquette Church, Angel found joy in her faith, her community, and most of all, her family. She cherished time spent with her daughter, Zoe, especially their shared love of all activities, especially biking. Angel was deeply proud of her Native American heritage and lived a life centered around caring for others, always putting her family first. She was also a mom to many.
Angel was a wonderful mother to and is survived by her daughter, Zoe Ida-Ann Noe; sister, Cristal Ann Abbott; special nieces, Natasha Marie and Niquae Marie Abbott; step-father, Theodore Paul Bell; her step-daughter, Miley Jean Noe and many other special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; but special grandmother, Geraldine Bess.
A celebration of Angel’s life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Ojibwa Housing Community Building, located at 105 Acre Trail, Marquette, MI 49855 from 2 until 4pm.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Angel’s name to Zoe Noe, Tru North Federal Credit Union.
