Patricia Lowney

ISHPEMING, MI-Patricia Louise Lowney, 97, of Ishpeming, longtime Negaunee resident, entered eternal life Thursday evening, September 11, 2025 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility.

Pat was born February 1, 1928 in Lansing to Milton and Golda (Laird) Lindberg, was raised in Negaunee and graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1946. She worked 35 years at the Styles Shop in Ishpeming and then also worked at the Marquette Welcome Center.

Pat was a lifelong devout member of Mitchell United Methodist Church, now Marquette Hope Negaunee Mitchell Campus. She was a selfless volunteer who enjoyed meeting people and caring for others. More than anything, Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters: Kathy (Stephen) Totaro of Dearborn, Jean (Roy) Woodruff of Troy and Nancy Rowe of Marquette; two step-sons: Rick O’Lowney of Florida and Stephen (Holly) Lowney of Muskegon; two step-daughters: Linda Lowney of California and Mary Lee (David) Bishop of Big Rapids; four grandchildren: Joshua (Erica) Miller, Rachel Miller, Eric Totaro and John Michael Rowe; one great-granddaugher, Mirabelle Miller; nieces, Kris Vanderburg and Patti Mosbacher; and her cousin, Anne (Ted) Zemper. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Patrick Lowney; and her sister, Jean (Jay) Moberg.

Visitation will be held at Marquette Hope Negaunee Mitchell Campus on Wednesday September 24th from 12:00 noon until the time of memorial services at 1:00 pm. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. Interment will be in the Negaunee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Marquette Hope Negaunee Mitchell Campus in Pat’s memory.
