Kevin Kelly

A longtime resident of Gwinn, Michigan, Kevin was born on July 17, 1951, in Detroit and grew up in Livonia. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1969.

Shortly after graduation, Kevin proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served his country with honor and bravery during the Vietnam War. He faced many battles and was a true leader.

Kevin was a kind, gentle, and compassionate soul with a wonderful sense of humor. He deeply loved his two sons and cherished the time he spent with his four grandchildren and great-granddaughter. An avid outdoorsman, Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He also had a heart for service and dedicated many hours volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.

He is survived by his sons, Kyle (Kasey) Kelly and Keenan (Kayley) Kelly; his grandchildren, Faith, Parker, Amelia, and Spencer; his great-granddaughter, Blakelee; his brothers, Gregg, Gary, and Ken; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kevin will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Kevin was preceded in death with his father, Robert; mother, Patricia; sister, Nancy Reichard; and son, Sean.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
