Stacy Marie Gray

ISHPEMING, MI-It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stacy Marie Gray, 53, of Ishpeming, MI. Stacy passed away in her home after losing the battle to cancer, surrounded by those who love her, on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Though our hearts are shattered and broken, we know she is no longer suffering and is at peace.
Stacy was born on April 4, 1972. She grew up in Ishpeming with her parents James ‘Gym’ and Judith ‘Judy’ Gray. After graduating from Ishpeming High School in 1990, she went on to study at Ferris State University. She eventually made her way back ‘home’. Stacy had many career opportunities during her lifetime and was most recently employed with U.P. Home Health and Hospice.
In 1999, Stacy met the love of her life, Bryan (Tooch) Bertucci, and they’ve been together ever since. She was so proud of their life together and everything they’d been through. Bryan, and their dog Miggy were her ‘happy’.
Stacy had 4 sisters, 1 brother, 3 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law, 12 nieces and 3 nephews. She loved her ‘kids’ with her entire being. No matter the age, these people were her ‘kids’. If one of these kids had a sporting event or special occasion, and Stacy could attend, she would always make sure to be there. She was the biggest cheerleader and supporter there ever was. Her people knew how much she loved them.
Besides Bryan and Miggy, her parents, in-laws, siblings, siblings-in-law, nieces, and nephews, Stacy’s other great love was the Detroit Tigers. There wasn’t a day that went by that she didn’t wear some sort of Tigers gear! She even received a special message from J.D. Martinez, thanks to her sister-in-law Lindsay Jones.
Another of Stacy’s joys in life was going to the casino. We envision her sitting at the slot machines with her grandma Mestnik and father-in-law Steve Bertucci. Win big, Stacy!
If love could have saved Stacy, she’d have lived forever. To know Stacy was to know love. To know Stacy was to know happiness. To know Stacy was an honor.
