Patti A. And Terrence L. Ploof

Terrence Lee Ploof was born September 9, 1951. He passed away on June 25, 2025.

Patti and Terry were together over 50 years and resided in Skandia, Michigan. They married on November 28, 1975. Both Terry and Patti graduated from Marquette Senior High School. They met while Patti was working at Wahlstroms. Terry’s persistence gave way to their destiny where they began a beautiful life.

Together they owned and operated the White Tail Bar for multiple years. They shared a love of The Green Bay Packers and reading. Their favorite things to do were visiting their camp, going to Rock Rally in Wisconsin and spending time with their family. Patti worked for Marquette General Hospital for over 30 years. Terry served in the Navy and supported multiple community services in which he was actively involved especially meals on wheels for seniors. He also had an extensive love for music more specifically his harmonica and records. They were very well known in the community and loved.

Survived by their 2 sons, Joshua David Ploof and Derrick Lee Ploof along with their 3 grandchildren, Darren, Gabriel, and Alyssa. And Patti’s sisters, Barbara Berg-Reese and Judy Cassidy along with cousins, nieces, nephews and many more.

Preceded in death by Patti’s parents, Estelle Genevieve Summerville and Erick Edmond Berg; and sister, Yvonne Catherine Massie and Terry’s parents, Albert David Ploof and Marie Agnes Lasee; and brother Keith Ploof.

No formal services will be held.
