Raymond Foor, Jr.

GWINN, MI-Raymond Ellsworth Foor, Jr., 73, of Gwinn, passed away early Friday morning, June 13, 2025 at UP Health System in Marquette.
Ray was born August 14, 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida, grew up in Dayton, Ohio and graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1969. He loved fishing and Captained Salmon Snatcher Charters as well as working for Lucky Line Linq Charters. Ray’s other employment included working for Lindquist Outdoor Sports, Cleveland Cliffs at the Empire Mine, The Ramada Inn, and 10 years with Superior Extrusion from where he retired in 2009.
Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing for walleye, and looked forward to his November fishing trip to the Two Hearted River with his four best friends. They made the trip together for over 25 years. Most of all, Ray loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Cindy (Philippi) Foor; sons, Raymond (Nicole Kiser) Foor, III and Bryan (Amelia) Frederickson; daughter, Tonia (Mike) Tipolt; grandchildren: Jeremy, Marissa and Daniel Foor, Mason Kiser, Zoey Tipolt and Vera Frederickson; sister, Carol (Paul) Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Rosemary; and an infant son, Bobby.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 noon 2:00 pm on Friday, June 20th at Koskey Funeral Home. Interment will take place in the Gwinn Cemetery.
