Stanley Latowski

He was born February 28, 1945, in Laurium, Michigan, a son of Stanley and Helen (LeBlanc) Latowski and was raised there.

Stanley served in the US Navy.

He began his career as a US Postal carrier in Milwaukee, WI before moving to Marquette where he continued work for 30+ years, retiring in 2000.

Stanley was a life member of the American Legion. His interests included trips to the casino, BINGO and supporting his family’s bowling efforts.

He is survived by his son, Steven (Jennifer) Latowski of Marquette; siblings, Janet Coburn of Schwartz Creek, MI and Robert (Mary) Latowski of Howards Grove, WI; cousins, Al (Debbie) LeBlanc of Iron Mountain, MI and Karen Sapino of Hubbell, MI; niece, Sheila (Brent) Bender of Plymouth, WI; and sister-in-law, Arlene (Frank) Arseneault of Amherst, Nova Scotia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Muriel Latowski; and son, Stanley Latowski, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm with Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating. A graveside service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Marquette American Legion.
