Debbie ‘Susie’ ‘Sparky’ Sparks
GWINN, MI-Debbie ‘Susie’ ‘Sparky’ Sparks, 65, of Gwinn, passed away Monday evening, May 26, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 25, 1959, in Harrisville, Michigan, a daughter of John and Danelda (Kelly) Harmon. She was a 1977 graduate of Sault Ste. Marie Area Schools.
Susie worked for years as a waitress/bartender at Big Boy, The Crossroads and the Gwinn Inn.
She was a member of the Forsyth Fire Department Auxiliary. She was a competitive person who played in softball, pool and bowling leagues over the years.
Susie is survived by her children, Niki (Brad) Pfluger of Skandia and Kyle (Madeleine) Fowler of Gwinn; and grandchildren, Gage and Avri Pfluger and Tatum Fowler; siblings, Ronald (Joyce) Harmon of Glennie, MI, Eddie (Debbie) Harmon of Glennie, MI and Sharon Harmon of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Sandra, Kathy and Johnny.
A Celebration of Susie’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 1 to 4 pm at the Forsyth Township Fire Hall.
