Barbara Miller

Barbara was born on February 6, 1947 in Hastings, MI to Donald C. And Ula M. (Garlinger) Miller. She graduated from Midland High School and attended Northern Michigan University, receiving her master’s degree.

Barbara married Robert P. Miller on September 2, 1967 in Midland, MI.

Barbara held various positions with the Marquette Area Public Schools, most recently being a bus aide.

She was a member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) and enjoyed her sorority.

Barbara was an avid reader, a big Tigers baseball fan and loved gardening.

She is survived by her three children, Carolyn Miller of Marquette, Wyatt (Jennifer) Miller of Marquette and Duncan Miller of Pennsboro, WV; three grandchildren, Donovan, Owen and Ethan Miller; three siblings, Doug (Bonnie) Miller, Duane (Jan) Miller and Don Miller; her mother, Ula Miller; and her best friend, Darcy Littich; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald C. Miller and husband, Robert P. Miller.

An informal celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Holiday Inn of Marquette at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Barbara’s name to a charity or organization of your choice.
