Anne Mattson

Anne was born in Ishpeming, MI on December 12, 1946, a daughter of the late Daniel Joseph and Anna Marie (Peterson) Ringuette. She worked as a waitress and cook at the 41 Steakhouse for many years along with various other jobs.

Anne played in the Republic Pool and Horseshoe Leagues and in bowling leagues. She enjoyed quilting and creating stained glass pieces. Anne was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Republic.

Anne is survived by three children; Christine Koski, Frederick (Erica) Mattson and Jeffery (Joey) Mattson, grandchildren; Laura Carlson (Tim), Nick Koski, Molly Koski (Josh), Daniel Koski, Zach Mattson (Amanda), Kara Mattson (Jason), Josiah Mattson, Liberty Mattson, Havah Mattson, Samuel Mattson, 9 Great Grandchildren; a sister Carmen (Stan) Kent, a brother Daniel (Sue) Ringuette, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wilfred Mattson, brother Michael Ringuette, son-in-law Curtis Koski, and a niece Alicia.

Anne’s family will greet relative and friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Friday May 16, 2025, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Republic where a Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 am.

Refreshments and desserts will be served following the service.

Memorials may be directed to St. Augustine Catholic Church in Republic in memory of Anne.
