Donna Weymouth
MARQUETTE, MI- Donna Mae Weymouth, 95, of Marquette, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at her home while in the care of her loving family and UP Home Health and Hospice.
She was born January 20, 1930, in Spokane, Washington, a daughter of Charles L. and Florence (Everson) O’Neill. She was raised in North Marquette and was a 1948 graduate of Graveraet High School.
Donna worked as an operator for Bell Telephone Company until she started a family with her beloved husband, Delbert Weymouth.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, cooking, baking, canning, crocheting, knitting, taking trips to the casino and playing BINGO, though her favorite pastime was spending time with and helping raise her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her children, Alan (Cathy) Weymouth of Levering, MI, Michael Weymouth of Harvey, Lynn (Michael) Paquette of Marquette, Danny (Diane Davis) Weymouth of Marquette and Kelly (Dan) Shanahan of Marquette; grandchildren, Stephanie (Kipp) Vaughn of Levering, Nicole Karmo of Ashburn, VA, Jessica Paquette of Marquette, Joseph Weymouth of Oshkosh, WI, Danny Weymouth, Jr. of Marquette, Bobbie Weymouth of Marquette, Brianna (Greg) Peterson of Marquette and Brenden Shanahan of Grand Rapids, MI; great-grandchildren, Kesha, Elijah, Jada, Kacen, Evie Ray, Caden, Amara and another on the way; siblings, Lloyd (Maria) O’Neill of Gwinn and Bonnie (Alan) Theilbar of Michicot, WI; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert Weymouth in 2015; great-grandchild, Kenton; and siblings, Connie Green and Gene O’Neill.
Honoring Donna’s request, no public services will be held.
