Marvin Johns

Marv was born at St. Luke’s hospital in Marquette, Dec 31st, 1951 to Marvin A. Johns and Mary E. (Reynolds) Johns. Marv lived in the Negaunee area his entire life, graduating from Negaunee High School with the class of 1970.

As well as his family, Marv loved building and driving fast cars, but also spending quiet time in the woods hunting, fishing, taking pictures, or just hiking.

Marv is survived by his mother, Mary Johns, siblings, Clayton Johns, Floyd (Heidi) Johns, and Paula (Greg) Stewart. He was a special uncle to, Tina (Mike) Cross, Clayton (Tammi) Johns Jr., Rebecca (Jamie Gollakner) Johns, Janelle (Nathan) Kapa, Kelsey (Garrett) Beck, and Jeff (Kelly) Stewart along with twelve great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece. The group of nieces, nephews and their children made up Marv’s “family”.

Marv was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Johns and sister-in-law Anita Marta Johns.

A private family service will be held during burial at the Negaunee Cemetery at a future date.
