Elizabeth Normand

Elizabeth was born on November 25, 1936 in Marquette to Edna (Dobbs) and Henry Normand, Sr. She was a lifelong Marquette area resident.

Elizabeth retired from the food service department at Northern Michigan University after 25 years of service. She was a devoted member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, baby-sitting and helping to raise her nieces and nephews and spending time with her godchildren.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother, Henry Normand, Jr. of Marquette; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great great nieces and great great nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ayotte, and brothers, Thomas and Richard Normand.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 p.m. in the church with Rev. Gregory Heikkala officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the mass. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
