Suzanne Bowers
PRESCOTT, AZ- Suzanne Bowers, long time resident of Marquette, passed away August 27, 2024. Suzanne was born in 1942, she was a retiree of AT&T where she climbed telephone poles to repair phones. She started out as an operator with Ohio Bell in Dayton Ohio. Her nickname on the pole was “Bear Cub”.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband Jack Bowers known for the iconic “Say Yah to Da UP, eh!” bumper sticker.
Suzanne is survived by her daughter Christina Greene (Ralph) and granddaughter Molly Greene.
A memorial will be held in Marquette in October of this year. Details to follow.
