Judith Louise Gregorich (Judy) was born in Marquette, MI on July 24th, 1934, to Agnes and George Gregorich. The fifth of 15 children, Judy had many fond memories of her large family and the life they shared in Marquette.

On August 7, 1954, Judy married Charles “Chuck” Sherbinow and together they had five children, Kari, Christina, Ricky, Todd, and Michelle. The couple lived in both Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Wisconsin, eventually settling in Menomonee Falls in 1966. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary surrounded by family before Chuck’s passing in 2005.

Judy cherished her cozy home where she took pride in her garden and enjoyed daily walks through her neighborhood enjoying her chats with her many wonderful neighbors and friends. Judy ultimately found her calling in office administration where she was valued for her reliability, trustworthiness, and efficiency. Even after retirement, she maintained valued friendships with former coworkers.

A talented cook and baker, Judy’s kitchen was the heart of many family traditions. Her Betty Crocker cookbook, a treasured wedding gift, was a constant companion as she baked elaborately decorated birthday cakes and legendary Christmas cookies. Many of her recipes were passed down to future generations in the Sherbinow Family Cookbook, a collection she was deeply proud of.

Judy will always be remembered for her boundless energy, determination, and infectious sense of humor. Her presence will be profoundly missed by her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched. Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, WI is assisting the family.
