Gina Costello Poff
PLEASANTON, CA- She was 89 years old. Gina was born and raised in the UP in Michigan by her parents the late Giovanni & Felice Bosio. She married Mike Costello in June 1957, two months later she was pregnant and then delivered twins. Mike got a job in New York at Stella Doro Co. They relocated to San Leandro California in Oct. 1958. In 1960 she had triplets. She was on the 11:00 news and made it into the newspapers. Gina & her family moved to Pleasanton in 1967.
Gina loved Pleasanton and worked as a manager at the Clothes Tree on Main St. She loved her family and all her friends and was always gracious, kind, and loving.
She is survived by her sons Patrick (Sarah), Gary (Annette), Greg and her daughters Sue (Bob Ligon) and Catherine (Joe Lasala). She has 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She also has two brothers, Johnny (Jean) and Angelo (Betty). She also is an aunt to many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family here and in Italy.
The funeral mass will be Sat., Oct. 12th, 2024, 11am at St. Augustine Church in Pleasanton. Interment: St. Michaels Cemetery in Livermore.
