She was born April 14, 1930 in Elroy, WI. Married to Jacob C. Brodersen on December 22, 1951.

Survived By: Daughter, Elizabeth (Dino Pershall) Brodersen of Sainte Genevieve, MO; Two Sons, Jacob (Pat) Brodersen, Mark (Sue) Brodersen; Grandchildren, Christine June, Susan (Darren) Almli, Jake (Kimberly) Brodersen, Matthew (Sebastian) Brodersen, Sean (McKenna) Brodersen, Justin (Cathy) Nicholson, Brittany (Roy) Hankey, Jesse (Deveney) Brodersen, Johnathan (Ashley) Plisco, and Erin Plisco; Fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and another great-great-grandchild on the way.

She was a member of Munising Booster Club, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Girl Scouts Leader.

Betty was a lifelong Detroit Lions Fan and proud Yooper, Betty was an active member of the Munising Booster Club and volunteered for many years with the high school track team. She was known for her dedication to family and community, she was always ready to lend a hand, whether it was helping at school or supporting local athletic teams.
