Peter John LaBerge

Pete was born on April 11, 1952 in L’Anse, MI to Kenneth and Barbara (LeDuc) LaBerge. On December 8, 2006, Pete married Mona Root in Menominee. Pete worked as a mechanic for the Ford Motor Company for close to 30 years. He later worked in the maintenance department at Specialty Chem until his retirement in 2020. Pete loved Fords and working on cars. He further enjoyed fishing and taking an occasional trip to the casino.

Survivors include his wife: Mona of Menominee; daughter: Darcie (Mike) Kordas of Menominee and their son: Caysen; step daughter: Jennifer (Jeremy) Suardini of Kewaunee, WI and their sons: Hunter and Mason; step son: James (Lindsey) Hudson of Green Bay, WI and their children: Lily and Noah; 2 sisters: Margaret Peterson of Ishpeming, MI and Mary Jane (Kate) LaBerge of Marquette, MI; sister-in-law: Bridget LaBerge of L’Anse; nieces and nephews.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth and Barbara; twin brother: Paul sister: Jackie Chamberlain; brothers: Tom and Duke; and nephew: Jeff.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 30, 2024 at Cadieu Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
