Eric Kucharczyk

Eric was born August 9, 1983 in Rhinelander, WI, to Anthony and Christine (Borkowski) Kucharczyk, and graduated from Pickford High School, Class of 2001. He continued his education at Northern Michigan University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Eric married Toni Wachter on July 31, 2010, and together they were raising their children in Negaunee. Eric was employed as vice president, business banking officer at Range Bank.

Eric had been devoted to building and rebuilding homes for he and his family. He had mastered construction, plumbing, electrical, and design; and excelled at every task he took on, and was the ultimate problem solver. Eric had a calming presence that was felt by all those around him.

In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking, going on side by side rides, and rocking out to music, especially Eric Church and HARDY.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 14 years, Toni Kucharczyk of Negaunee; his children, Harper and Henry; his mother, Chris Kucharczyk of South Carolina; father, Tony (Joyce) Kucharczyk of Pickford; two sisters, Brittany (Corey Miller) Kucharczyk and their daughter, Eleanor, and Melissa Kucharczyk and her husband, Nick, and children Penelope and Blair; his father and mother-in-law, Mike and Patti Wachter; and sister-in-law, Jessica (Bryan) Durnion, and their children Madison and Brenden.

A Celebration of Eric’s Life will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14th at Koskey Funeral Home, Negaunee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Eric’s memory to Range Bank for the Kucharczyk Kids Fund.
