Murph McCasey

He was born July 10, 1940, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, Son of Duncan and Rose (Murphy) McCasey. Murph graduated from Soo High Class of 1958. Following graduation he attended Lake Superior State College and started the NECA-IBEW Joint Apprenticeship Training Program.After completing the apprenticeship program he started working for his father’s company, FD McCasey Electrical Contracting & Refrigeration. In 1967 he started working for Swan Electric Company where he was an employee for 33 years.

In December 19,1981 he married his wife Terry (Miller)McCasey of 43 years. Murph enjoyed bowling, hunting, snowmobiling and boating.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Mike and Tim.

Surviving in addition to his wife Terry (Miller) McCasey of Port Charlotte FL, are his son Bill McCasey and his wife, Lori of Gaylord MI; daughter Debra Lordson of GLadstone MI; Step-Daughter Roberta (Bobbie Joe) Livermore and her husband Lester of Hessel MI; Step-Son Robert (Chance) Heilman of Biloxi MS; Grandchildren, Kelly MaCaulay, Clifford Lordson, Casey Lordson, Kristin Lordson and Danielle Price. Great Grandchildren, Ezra Sloop, Harmony Sloop, Henrick MaCaulay and Arthur MaCaulay.

He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
