Molly Anne Taseris

Molly was born on December 27, 1967, in Ishpeming to Robert and Heather LaMora. A 1986 graduate of Ishpeming High School, Molly was known for her caring nature and generous spirit. Following high school, she married Nick Taseris, on September 2, 1988. Together, they built a home and raised two sons who were the center of their world.

Molly’s passion for caring extended into her professional life as a daycare provider. She gave of herself to nurture and support not just her own children, but many others, earning her the affectionate title of a mother to many. Molly’s love and dedication to children were evident to all who knew her, and her impact on the lives she touched will live on.

Remembered for her gentleness and thoughtfulness, Molly cherished her time with her grandchildren, who were her most prized treasures. She created a world of love and laughter for Tyler, Chloe, Thea, and Isla Taseris, leaving them a legacy of cherished memories.

A lover of the outdoors, Molly embraced life’s simple pleasures. She found joy in side-by-side rides and exploring the woods. Her love of the outdoors was matched by her talent for sewing beautiful quilts and clothing.

Molly leaves behind: her husband, Nick Taseris; her sons, Tyler Taseris and Andrew (Katie) Taseris; her grandchildren; Tyler, Chloe, Thea, and Isla Taseris; her father, Bob (Judy) LaMora; her mother, Heather LaMora; and her brothers, Scott (Tammy) LaMora and Jeff (Taylor) Martin. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A graveside service to honor Molly’s life will be held at Negaunee Cemetery on Saturday, June 22 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lillian Larson American Legion Post 114.
