Theodore Dahlstrom
MARQUETTE, MI- Theodore Carl ‘Ted’ Dahlstrom, 76, of Marquette, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, April 30, 2024 at his home, under the care of his loving family and Lake Superior Life Care & Hospice.
Ted was born May 2, 1947 in Ishpeming, to Delber and Margaret (Anderson) Dahlstrom, attended Gwinn Public Schools, and was lifelong area resident. He was a longtime electrician at KI Sawyer AFB, and later worked for Marquette County.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Julie Dahlstrom; his children: Terry (Kristi) Dahlstrom, Bryan (Jennifer) Dahlstrom, and Carrie (Gardner) Bess; six grandchildren: Sydney (Keith) Grabarczyk, Tessa (Dylan) Daugherty, Gardner (Amira) Bess, Russell Bess, Quinn Dahlstrom, and Abrielle Dahlstrom; great-grandchildren: Kinsley, Emerie, Althea, Nellie, Forrest and Theo; his siblings: Judy Adamini, Barbara (Dennis) Filizetti, and Daniel (Diane) Dahlstrom; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Christy Salo; and his first wife, Leona Dahlstrom.
Honoring Ted’s wishes, no public services will be held.
