Jilaine J. Jenkins

She was born January 3, 1961, in Menominee, a daughter of the late Raymond and Patricia (Grabowski) Jenkins. She was raised there and was a 1979 Menominee High School graduate.

Jilaine loved to cook and worked at various restaurants including Hardees, where she was employed for more than 20 years.

She was a former member of the Eagles and VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed BINGO, gardening, was an avid Green Bay Packers and NASCAR fan and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jilaine is survived by her life partner, Jeff Alanen of Marquette; children, Heather (Jason) DeMenter of Escanaba, Michael (Shayna) Hohl of Menominee and Tyler Larson of Marinette, WI; step-daughter, Ann Alanen of Ishpeming; grandchildren, Jonathan, Lucas, Lincoln, Oliver and Emery; siblings, Michael (Kathy Adamson) Jenkins of Wisconsin and Jana (Paul) Foote of Menominee; nieces, Jacinda Jenkins and Jenna Nielson; and good friend, Frog; and her pets, her dog Bandit and cat Bella.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda.

Visitation will be held Thursday May 2nd from 4:00 to 6:00 pm with a memorial service at 6:00 pm at Cadieu Funeral Home, 549 10th Avenue, Menominee, MI.
