He was proudly part of the 1975 Class C Football State Championship Team, where he typically held the positions of linebacker, running back and full back! He continued his football legacy and education at Northwood University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree, and more importantly met the love of his life, Gail Peters. They were married on August 23, 1980, in Lancaster, PA, cherishing 43 years full of love, laughter and numerous adventures. In the late 1990’s, the two made their way to West Michigan, which they have called home for the last 28 years. Dave was a dedicated employee for 30 years to SAF Holland where he thrived with his talking skills as a professional negotiator in sales before retiring. He also worked part-time at US Tarp working as a consultant. Dave had a strong faith and was a member of St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Parish. He was an avid outdoorsman whether it was hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, or his daily hikes along the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Dave was a foodie and was a talented cook, taking pure joy in feeding and filling his home with the ones he loved. Dave was up for any adventure, maybe traveling somewhere new or spending hours on the road to make it to his grandkid’s soccer games. They knew, their “Pop’s” was their #1 and biggest fan! Dave had the ability to never know a stranger and with ease could make a friend. He had the gift of gab that was perfectly balanced with an easy-going personality. Dave will always be remembered as a loving husband, amazing dad of three, wonderful Pops, caring brother and friend. His larger-than-life spirit will truly be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Farragh; children, Tony (Charlotte) Farragh and Megan Farragh (Wade DeLonge); three grandchildren, Harper, Weston and Jack; brother, Michael (Khristi) Farragh; two sisters, Susan (Marvin) Rivers and Elizabeth Farragh; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friend to many.
