Thomas L. Carollo
MARQUETTE, MI – Thomas L. Carollo, 75, of Marquette, died Sunday afternoon, April 21, 2024, at UP Health System-Marquette.
He was born June 22, 1948, in Iron Mountain, Michigan, a son of the late Joseph J. and Mary (Lupini) Carollo.
Tom attended NMU in Marquette before gaining employment at CCI where he worked in various capacities for more than 30 years until his retirement in 2004.
He owned various rental properties around Marquette and enjoyed playing bridge, sailing, fishing, hunting and was an avid dog lover.
Tom is survived by his nieces and nephews, Netty (Steve) Kiekover of Spring Lake, MI, Jim Carollo of Dallas, TX, Steven (Monica) Carollo of Buffalo Grove, IL, Patti (Scot) Carollo of Kingsford, MI, Gina Carollo of Lake Geneva, WI, Joe Carollo of Ashburn, VA and Heather (Sean) Higgins of Chicago, IL; sister-in-law, Geraldine Carollo of Iron Mountain, MI; and his beloved dog, Bob.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Gerald Carollo, Glenn Carollo and Susan Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 1 to 2 pm at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Thomas Merkel officiating.
