LAS VEGAS, NV- It is with deep sadness that we must inform you of our Dear Son’s passing at the Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada from an apparent heart attack on 05 April 2024.

Michael was born September 1, 1975 in Ishpeming, the son of Michael and Maxine Denofre. Michael graduated from Ishpeming High School in 1993 and also graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1999 earning a Bachelor of Science Degree. He enlisted into the Army National Guard in 1993 and transferred to the Active Guard Reserve in 2000 until 2006 when he was Honorably discharged. After graduating College he moved to Arizona (Mesa/Bullhead City) and loved it there. He loved people, His Bear hugs shall be missed!

His laughter was contagious! Michael was an active member of the American Legion Bullhead City AZ. He was in the National Guards/Active Guard Reserves for over 13 years. Following his discharge he was involved in Real Estate until his passing.

Michael always tried to keep in contact with his friends with his phone calls faithfully asking how they were doing. He was a BUDDY to all the guys he met. He followed the Chicago Cubs faithfully attending all the games he could! He also was a loyal fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls and Notre Dame and also was a collector of all their memorabilia. He was an Altar server at St. John The Evangelist Church for Msgr. David Spelgatti for thirteen years.

Michael leaves behind his Beloved Parents Michael and Maxine (Jossens) Denofre, his Beloved Sister Carmella Marie Denofre and Beloved Brother Joseph Rocco Denofre (Jiyoon). Beloved Nieces and Nephews Marcella, Nicholas and Xavier Bannister and Joseph and Gianna Denofre.

Michael is preceded in death by his Grandparents Peter B. and Barbara Denofre, Edward Jossens, and Mildred (Matheson) Jossens. His loyal canine companions Wrigley, Butkus and Halas.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
