David Perlove

David was born on February 18, 1954 in Detroit, MI to Samuel and Shirley A. (Breault) Perlove.

David married the former Mary Jo Vespa October 5, 1979 in Detroit.

David worked as a labor representative for Michigan Nurses Association for 18 years based out of Marquette.

David loved Marquette and nature. He enjoyed cultivating his beautiful garden with his wife Mary Jo. David liked to research current events on his laptop. He also enjoyed his companionship with his dog, Buddy. David was a member of Temple Beth Sholom of Marquette.

David is survived by his loving wife Mary Jo Perlove of Marquette; his son, David (Laura Bigari) Perlove of Marquette; his daughters, Lisa (Tim Soper) Perlove of Escanaba, MI and Kayla (Ryan Beistle) Perlove of West Bend, WI; grand-daughter, Lydia Beistle; and siblings, Roy (Nancy Groudis) Perlove of Burt Lake, MI and Lia (Joel) Kaber of Livonia, MI; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and special cousin, Denise and best friend Joe Godfrey.

David was preceded in death by his parents, and his nephew, Alex Kaber.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 12 noon at Park Cemetery with Rabbi Len Zukrow of Temple Beth Sholom officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow at Temple Beth Sholom.
