Daniel J. Fetterhoff

MARQUETTE, MI – Daniel J. Fetterhoff, 36, of Marquette, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at U.P. Health System- Marquette from a brain hemorrhage.

Daniel, also known as Danny or “Doobie” by friends and family, was born on January 11, 1988 in Glenwood Springs, CO to Daniel S. and Penny Jo (DesJardins) Fetterhoff. He was a 2006 graduate of Marquette Alternative High School.

Danny enjoyed working for Year Round Yard Care with his dad and uncle Tony, performing snow removal and various aspects of lawn care. More recently Danny worked as a service tech at Superior One Quick Lube in Marquette.

Daniel loved spending time with his nephews, family and friends. Danny enjoyed playing in numerous pool leagues and tournaments where he met many of his friends. He enjoyed camping, four-wheeling and being in the woods. He also loved to go cruising around and taking his nightly rides around Presque Isle Island.

Danny is survived by his father, Daniel S. Fetterhoff of Marquette; sister, Jamie (Chad) Chapman of Marquette; nephews, Nathan and Owen Chapman of Marquette; aunts and uncles, Sharon (Charlie) Ricker, Terri (Bill) Alexander, Kim (Amy) Fetterhoff, Tony (Laurel) Fetterhoff, Paula (Mark) Scheuffele and Sherri Fetterhoff; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Penny Jo Fetterhoff; sister, Angie Fetterhoff; his beloved dog, Chica; aunt, Kris Aho; his paternal grandparents, William and Sandra Fetterhoff; and his maternal grandparents, Paul and Lois DesJardins.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 2 until 4 p.m. at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services. Refreshments will be provided.

There will be a pool tournament benefit for Danny on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Pasquali’s in Negaunee. More information will be provided in the days to come.
