Bonnie Sult
ISHPEMING, MI- Bonnie Sult, 66, of Ishpeming, died Friday afternoon, January 26, 2024 at UP Health System-Bell.
She was born May 20, 1957, in Marquette, MI. Daughter of Elmo and Leona (Niemisto) Sult.
Bonnie was a participant in the Special Olympics most of her life. She also enjoyed bowling, swimming, basketball, mushroom picking, ice fishing and sun bathing until the sun went down.
Bonnie is survived by her sister, Christine Sult (Mchenry, IL); nieces, Hiedi Sult (Wasilla, AK) & Caity Sult (Houston, AK); nephews, Robin Pihlainen (Marquette, MI), Rigel Pihlainen (Mchenry, IL), Chad Howell (Houston, AK), Josh Sult (Big Lake, AK), Dawson Sult (Wasilla, AK), and Kevin Jasper (Marquette, MI); sister- in-law, Nancy Sult (Houston, AK) and numerous cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Wesley, Cheryl, and Cliff; her uncle, Phil Niemisto; and brother in-law, Ron Pihlainen.
A graveside service will be held this Spring in Park Cemetery.
