Robert Ellerbruch
UTAH/NEGAUNEE, MI – Robert Lawrence Ellerbruch passed from this plane of existence at his residence in Utah on November 26, 2023. Robert was born September 28, 1974 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Marion and Lawrence Ellerbruch. He moved to Bozeman, Montana with his family until the middle grades. He and his family then moved to Negaunee, Michigan where he was valedictorian for his Negaunee High School graduation class. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree at Albion College and a Master’s degree from Western Michigan University. Robert lived in several cities working as an actuary. He was an avid marathoner and had a goal of running a marathon in each state. He had run in over thirty states before the pandemic interrupted his plans.
Robert is survived by his parents Marion and Larry, his brother Bill (Misty), nieces Jessica (Jesse) and Kelly, four grand nieces and nephews (Harper, Dylan, Nolan and Lorelei), an uncle Roy, an aunt Marianne and a cousin Vicki (Justin). Robert was married to Kristine Heffel and after their divorce they remained good friends. He also had a special friend Kim.
Based on Robert’s wishes he was cremated and there will be no services.
