Norma Jean ‘Jean’ Lindeblad
MARQUETTE, MI – Norma “Jean” Lindeblad, age 90, of Marquette, entered eternal life Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Brookridge Heights Assisted Living Facility, in the loving, comforting care of her family.
Jean was born June 27, 1933, in Stephenson, Michigan, a daughter of Theodore and Pauline (Louge) Halvorsen. She was a longtime employee of the Marquette Board of Light and Power for over 20 years. In her leisure, she was an avid reader and especially treasured time spent with her family.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Connie M. Wood of Marquette; three grandchildren, Gary of Berea, KY, Jeremy of Mt Pleasant, SC, and Eli (Natasha) of Geneseo, KS; six great-grandchildren, Celine Cook of Nacogdoches, TX, Porter Libby of Richmond, IN, Kailee Wood of Houston, TX, Aubrey, Zoey and Gage Wood of Geneseo, KS; three great great-grandchildren, Everly Wood Fornby of Houston, TX, Gentry Cook and Colton Cook of Nacogdoches, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Aleck and Bonnie Halvorsen of Avon Lake, OH; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roland Lindeblad; a granddaughter, Teresa Libby: a brother and sister-in-law, Theodore and Cleo Halvorsen.
Honoring her request, a memorial will be held at a later date.
