Allyn Jordan

Al was born July 18, 1960 in Watertown, Wisconsin to John and Judy (Romback) Jordan, and was raised by his step-father, Jude Dollar. He graduated from Negaunee High School and served honorably in the United States Army, being discharged in 1979. Following his service to his country he lived in various locations in the Midwest, and settled in Negaunee in the early 80’s. Al worked various jobs over his career, including several years with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

In his spare time, he loved being outdoors, grilling, picnicking, and playing cards. Al was always generous to others and was grateful to be able to help whether he was asked to or not. He had a wonderful sense of humor and many people enjoyed his quick wit. Al loved music, and enjoyed everything from Pink Floyd to Taylor Swift.

Surviving are his daughter, Valerie (John Gregorich) Jordan and her mother, Laurie (Fred) Beauchamp; and his grandson, Vincent St. John. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father.

Honoring Al’s wishes, no public services will be held.
