Mary Belmore

Mary was born February 10, 1955, in Marquette to Charles and Dorothy (Kemnes) Rohl, and graduated from Marquette Senior High School, Class of 1973. She worked various jobs over the years, but was primarily was a loving and devoted homemaker to her family.

Mary’s faith was that as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Throughout her life she shared her faith with many, and continued to share that faith to those who cared for her at Eastwood Nursing Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and sewing, cooking, and playing cards. Above all, she cherished her beloved family and time with them.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, David J. Belmore; her son, Jeffrey (Melody) Belmore; daughter, Jessica Belmore; two grandchildren, Lily Belle (Bradley) Kindness and Jackson Belmore; and her sister, Maxine (Greg) Sturm. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 2nd at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2245 US Hwy. 41, Marquette. The family will greet relatives and friends for one hour prior to the services at the Kingdom Hall on Saturday.
