Dale D. Massoglia
ISHPEMING, MI – Dale D. Massoglia, 85, of Ishpeming, formerly of Marquette, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 8, 2023, at his residence.
Dale was born on May 28, 1938, in Calumet, MI, to the late John P. and Blanche L. (Gillette) Massoglia.
Dale attended Michigan Tech University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in 1962 and a bachelor’s degree in engineering administration in 1970. He worked in civil service at the K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base, retiring in 1994.
Dale was a life member of the Elks Club 404 in Calumet, Knights of Columbus Council # 689 and was a former member of Moose Lodge # 1059 in Marquette.
Dale is survived by his brother, Dennis Joseph (Barbara) Massoglia of Stevens Point, WI; a cousin, Laurel (Jim) Perko of Marquette; one niece and five nephews. Besides his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brother, John Blanchard (Mary Elaine) Massoglia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 16, at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Calumet. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Spring burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Calumet.
