Jim is survived by his wife, Katherine; sons, Ron and Alan (Andrea); stepdaughters, Yvonne and Josette; brothers, Daniel and David (Terri); five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Lu and “Buck” Manville; sisters. Pauline (Junior) Huffman and Patty Ann Ames; brother, Jack (Cindy) Manville, and stepdaughter, Yvette Rousseau.

The family would like to thank Dr. R. Rao and the staff at Gibson Family Health Center as well as the staff of Northwoods Home Health and Hospice for their compassionate care.

A special thanks goes to Bob and Gladys Rigdon, who selflessly gave their time to assist in Jim’s care.

Per Jim’s wishes, his remains are being cremated, and a memorial service for Jim will be held in the future.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Michigan Beekeepers Association (https://michiganbees.org/MBA-Donation) in honor of Jim’s love of the outdoors and his wish to preserve and protect nature.
