Gary G. Arseneau

Gary was born in Ishpeming, on February 22, 1958, a son of the late Agnes M. (Junak) and Pius A. Arseneau. Gary was a graduate of the Ishpeming High School, Class of 1976. Gary worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator at A. Lindberg and Sons in Ishpeming, for 47 years, recently retiring on Friday Sept 22, 2023. Gary had been active in the Ishpeming Pool League, Ishpeming Cribbage League, along with local Softball and Dart leagues. He loved to spend time with his family and tinker with his boat. Gary was a great father and grandfather with a great sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by many.

Gary is survived by a daughter, Ashlee M. (Kyle) Kinnunen of Ishpeming, a son, Jason (Amy) Arseneau of Champion, 8 grandchildren – Hunter, Jaxon, Abigail, Aydin, Jayce, Abel, Josie, Amelia, a sister, Paula (Jeff) Nelson of Bloomfield, CO, four brothers – Terry (Jeanne) Arseneau of Dansville, Jerry (Darlene) Arseneau of Ishpeming, Barry (Ronalyn) Arseneau of Champion, Cary (Emily) Arseneau of Ishpeming, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Arseneau.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home, where family will greet relatives and friends.
