Eila (Mattson) Hill

She was born September 30, 1926 to Albert and Hilja Mattson of Gwinn MI.

Eila was a lifelong resident of Gwinn and member of Grace Lutheran Church until 2016 before moving to Lansing to live with family members.

She was married to Leo Hill from 1955 until his death in 2003.

She is preceded in death by brothers: Onni, Eino and Arne; sisters, Aune Mallette and Helen Mattson. She is survived by one brother: Edwin Mattson

She is also survived by her sons: Jim (Vicki), Dale (Barb), Gary and Paul (Cally), grandchildren: David (Torie) Hill, Jenny Hill, Alex (Amanda) Hill, Elise (Ben) Magen, Brian (Kandi) Hill and Katie (Taylor) Fitch and 11 great grandchildren.

A joint celebration of life service for Eila and Leo will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Gwinn MI at a future date.
